About Yana Zaika Interior Design Studio
Yana Zaika Interiors is a boutique interior design studio. I work with clients from all over the world, and online projects are a part of my regular work. From the first sketch to the final decoration, I help my clients develop and realise bespoke living spaces, from (private) residences to restaurants. My strength is conceptual thinking, and I believe that design should not be dictated by how it will be perceived. It should anticipate how the designed space will be used and experienced. My interiors are always unique and based on your wishes and needs.
Our Services
STAGE 1
The Design Concept
In this stage, I take my clients on different style journeys with a variety of colours, picking the right style and colour pallet for the future design.
STAGE 2
Floor plan and views
This stage includes measuring the object and drawing a plan with the furniture arrangement. It may also include perspective drawings, site plans, floor plans, 3-D models or computer simulations, reflected ceiling plans (showing lighting and ceiling fixtures), sections, elevations and detailed drawings of architectural elements (e.g. doors and windows) and design elements (e.g. paint, trim, wall coverings and window treatments), along with all the drawing notes necessary for the construction and installation of the design.
STAGE 3
Design development
This stage covers the project’s most important and exciting parts: textures, materials, finishes and placement of architectural and design elements.
STAGE 4
Furnishing and styling
When all building works are completed, it is time to clean the object and arrange all furniture, curtains, lights, art objects and other decorations, with professional photography of the object.
During all the stages, I will make regular site visits to coordinate progress, inspect the quality of workmanship, and resolve any on-site issues. Once construction and installation works are complete, I will draw up a ‘Snag List’ (also called a ‘Punch List’) of defects to be resolved before movable furnishings, materials, and accessories are installed.
I believe that a designer should make the dream into a reality
and connect people to the place
they will use or live in.
